Ray Zee has practiced internationally for over 35 years. Prior to SHADOW, he led the Nan Fung Design Department having worked on projects for the group in Hong Kong, Shanghai, Singapore, New York, and various parts of Greater China – with his formative years in the offices of IM Pei and Sir Norman Foster. He has experience in residential, hotel, commercial and civic projects. He was the Chief Designer of the Mills winning the HKIA Medal of the Year, and the UNESCO Asia-Pacific Award for New Design in Heritage Contexts for Cultural Heritage Conservation.

Benjamin is a Founding Partner of SHADOW. With over 18 years of experience as a design architect on making soulful places to embrace the complexity of the physical world. His approach has always been balancing architectural design between aesthetical and benefits to the community, as well as capturing spirit of places.

For 18 years, Benjamin’s design has stretched from luxurious residential and commercial to cultural and heritage projects. The architectural experience from Central Market and the award-winning project “The Mills” has reinforced his believe on human experience rather than signature style. His passion on design delicacy has been illustrated through projects like Sun House, Homantin Development and Discovery Bay Revitalization

Kin Cheong is a Founding Partner of SHADOW. With over decade of experience practising in architecture, he established a unique aesthetic to his creation in SHADOW which combines architectural craftiness with humancentric design.

Kin Cheong has over 15 years of professional experiences as leading design architect with various international architectural practices such as RMJM and Aedas, where he focused on masterplanning and detailed building design in both China and Hong Kong. His expertise on commercial, hospitality as well as retail planning design has resulted in numurious renowned mixed-use projects projects, the Zhenjiang Suning Plaza, Zhuhai Heart of the City and Shishi Goldcoast Resort
