SUN HOUSE

"A ROMANTIC RE-WRITE OF SUN HOUSE LEGEND, A TREASURE FOR LOK'S FAMILY "

The former Sun House Building was completed in 1977 and mainly functioned as an office tower with retail shops on the ground level. Over time, the building's allure decreased due to its deteriorating aesthetic appeal and outdated spatial arrangement and style. A new transformation was in demand to rewrite the legacy of the building.

The captivating history of Sun House holds a certain allure, as it weaves together the threads of time and showcases the unique changes that have taken place in its midst. This historical architectural gem not only reflects cherished memories of "Lok's Family" but also serves as a poignant reminder of a reality long gone. Constructed over a century ago, Sun House stands as a testament to the remarkable transformations that have shaped our city.

Through the revitalization of Sun House, maintaining the original structure with a double facade system, together with a two-tone metallic cladding reminiscent of the past and future. The building's history is being rewritten in a way that pays homage to its past while embracing the present and future

The lobby was transformed from a basement lobby to a grand entrance elevated on the ground level, welcoming visitors with its elegant design and historical charm. The 30-meter-long lobby is also a showcase of co-working spaces, creating a dynamic and collaborative environment that fosters creativity and innovation. A co-working space by day, a event space by night

The adaptive reuse and preservation of Sun House, not only contribute to the sustainability of urban development but also recreate the atmospheric ambiance of historical times for all who visit

"LIVING HISTORY OF SUNHOUSE FROM 1977"

The building has suffered from deterioration to the extent that it is no longer favored in the commercial realm. However, instead of letting it fade into obscurity, the decision was made to rewrite its history and give it a new purpose and life

"REVITALIZATION BEGINS IN JUNE 2016, COMPLETED ON JAN 2010"
